DPLMC Office Staff

Nicola Craven

Administrator
I’m Nicola Craven, and I joined DPLMC as Administrator in December 2023. I qualified as a PA in 1988 and since then have worked in a variety of roles, including running my own business for ten years. I work four sessions a week for DPLMC and I’m also Financial Controller for The Bracken Trust Cancer for Support Centre two days a week. Outside work I love spending time with my four dogs, going to gigs and baking.

Dr Sophie Bennett

Medical Director
Hi, I qualified from Cardiff University in 2012, did my F1 in Dundee, Scotland and F2 in Aberystwyth; following this I completed by GP Training in Gwent and South Powys Scheme.  In addition to being the Medical Director for DPLMC I work as a Locum in Powys, as an OOH doctor in Shropdoc and within Cardiff University Teaching and Examining Undergraduates.  I have in the past been a Partner in Powys and a Dermatology Speciality Doctor in Hereford County Hospital.

My goal as the MD for DPLMC is that all GP voices are heard and are equally represented and ensuring that we are available and approachable for all GPs that we represent.

Outside of work I spend time with my family enjoying the outdoors and currently the plethora of parks and soft plays in the South Wales area!
